Online repository for archived newspapers ranging from the 1800s to present day. Features basic and extended access subscription plans, search and browsing features and the ability to "clip" articles or entire pages and export (.jpg or .pdf) or save to your account for future access.

National Archives

Website for the National Archives, which contains records and archives spanning a vast time period and most US locations. Features search function for locating possible records and indexes, although not all resources are currently available online.


One of the largest repositories for genealogical and other records, including access to birth and death indexes, other vital records and personal member family trees and media/information. Includes both free and paid versions (although you'll probably need a subscription to view most records and family trees.

The Military Yearbook Project

This website includes extensive military yearbooks, platoon photos and references for all branches. Resources and reference materials include military occupation codes, base histories, military awards and ribbons, old MOS codes and other general references.
